Include your iPhone model, iOS version, and what you were doing when it went wrong. If it involves rep counting, say which movement and how the phone was set up.

Beta feedback

On a TestFlight build, take a screenshot and press Share Beta Feedback — it attaches your device details and recent logs automatically, which is far more useful than a description. Bug reports during the beta are genuinely welcome.

Requirements

iPhone running iOS 15.1 or later. You need a rear or front camera, a spot to prop the phone, and enough room to move. No equipment for push-ups or squats; pull-ups need a bar. An internet connection is required to sign in and to save progress — rep counting itself works offline.

The app isn't counting my reps

This is the most common issue, and it is almost always the setup rather than the app.

If the app shows a tracking lost warning it has stopped seeing you — step back into frame and it picks up again. If it never starts counting at all, it can't find your body: widen the shot and try again.

The app is stuck on the loading screen

Check your internet connection first, then force-quit and reopen. The app talks to its server on launch to load your save file, so no connection means no progress screen. If it persists on a good connection, email us — that one is on our side and we want to know.

I can't sign in

Sign-in opens Apple or Google in a browser sheet. If it fails, make sure you aren't blocking pop-ups or cookies for that sheet, then try the other provider. Note that Apple and Google create separate accounts — if your progress has vanished, the usual cause is signing in with the other provider. Sign out and back in with the one you originally used.

If you used Hide My Email with Apple, email us from the relay address Apple generated, or we won't be able to match you to your account.

Reminders aren't arriving

Check iOS Settings → Notifications → System Quest and confirm they're allowed. iOS only asks once, so if you declined the first time, the app can't ask again — you have to enable it there. Then check the reminder time in the app under Settings → Notifications. Reminders are scheduled by your phone, so they fire whether or not you're online, but a phone in Focus or Do Not Disturb will hold them back.

Moving to a new phone

Install the app and sign in with the same provider. Your rank, streak, history and profile are stored against your account, not the device, so everything comes back. Nothing needs to be exported first.

A movement I can't do

Settings → Training lets you exclude specific movements, for injury or any other reason. Excluded movements stop appearing in daily quests and promotion trials — the app just stops asking.

Deleting your account

Settings → Danger → Delete Account, then type DELETE to confirm. This erases your player record, every logged set, your activity history and your profile photo, and deletes your sign-in identity. It is immediate and permanent — there is no undo and no restore. Signing in again afterwards creates a new player from scratch.

Already deleted the app without deleting the account? Email support@systemquest.fit from your account address and we will do it for you. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Something hurts? Stop training and see a doctor. System Quest is a game — a quest target is not a medical recommendation, and no streak is worth an injury. See Terms of Use, section 3.
